TrekIt Cancellation Policy

At TrekIt, we understand that travel plans can change unexpectedly. Below is our cancellation policy designed to offer you flexibility while ensuring smooth bookings and services:

At Trekit, we understand that travel plans can change. To provide flexibility and transparency, our cancellation policy allows you to modify or cancel your bookings with ease. Cancellations made within 24 hours of booking are eligible for a full refund, provided the travel date is at least 7 days away. For cancellations beyond this period, fees may apply based on the policies of the service provider (e.g., airline, hotel, or tour operator). Non-refundable bookings and last-minute cancellations may not be eligible for a refund. We recommend reviewing the specific cancellation terms for your booking during the reservation process. 1. General Cancellation Terms

  • Cancellation requests must be submitted via our website or by contacting our customer service team directly.
  • All cancellations will be processed according to the terms specified for each booking type.

2. Hotel Reservations

  • Free Cancellation: If you cancel your reservation at least 48 hours before the check-in date, you will receive a full refund.
  • Non-Refundable Bookings: Some hotel reservations may be non-refundable. Please review the hotel’s cancellation policy before confirming your booking.
  • Late Cancellations: If you cancel within 48 hours of check-in, a cancellation fee of one night’s stay will apply.

3. Flight Bookings

  • Refundable Flights: If you cancel at least 24 hours before the departure time, you will receive a full refund minus any applicable service fees.
  • Non-Refundable Flights: These are subject to the airline’s cancellation policy, which may include a fee or no refund depending on the ticket type.
  • Changes to Flight: You may change your flight (subject to availability) for a fee, which will depend on the airline’s terms and conditions.

4. Tour Packages

  • Cancellations 14+ Days Before Departure: You will receive a full refund, minus a 10% administrative fee.
  • Cancellations 7-13 Days Before Departure: You will receive a 50% refund.
  • Cancellations Less Than 7 Days Before Departure: No refund will be issued.

5. Special Offers and Non-Refundable Deals

  • Certain promotions, deals, or discounts may have stricter cancellation terms. Please review the specific cancellation policy for these bookings when you make the reservation.

6. How to Cancel

  • To cancel your booking, simply log into your TrekIt account, navigate to “My Bookings,” and click “Cancel” next to the reservation you wish to modify.

7. Refund Processing

  • Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days to the original payment method.

9. Force Majeure

  • In the event of unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, strikes, or other force majeure events, TrekIt reserves the right to adjust cancellation terms or offer alternatives like rescheduling rather than refunds.
